Nachname bis 2016: Daase

Cindy Wittkes Forschung bewegt sich an den Schnittstellen von Politik- und Rechtswissenschaft. Seit Juni 2017 ist sie Leiterin der politikwissenschaftlichen Nachwuchsgruppe am IOS (inzwischen Politikwissenschaftliche Forschungsgruppe). Seit 2019 leitet sie außerdem das Projekt „Zwischen Konflikt und Kooperation: Politiken des Völkerrechts im post-sowjetischen Raum“, das für drei Jahre vom Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF) finanziert wird. Zuvor forschte und lehrte sie als akademische Mitarbeiterin am Fachbereich Politik- und Verwaltungswissenschaft der Universität Konstanz (2014—2017). Cindy Wittke verfügt über interdisziplinäre Forschungs- und Lehrerfahrungen im In- und Ausland, die sie u. a. als Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am SFB 700 „Governance im Räumen begrenzter Staatlichkeit“ der Freien Universität Berlin (2006—2010); als Bosch-Lektorin am Lehrstuhl für Europa- und Völkerrecht der Staatlichen Universität in Yerevan (2007—2008), als Visiting Fellow am Lauterpacht Centre for International Law in Cambridge (2009, 2010) sowie als Jerome Hall Fellow am Center for Law, Society & Culture der Indiana University Maurer School of Law in Bloomington, IN (2013–2014) erwarb.
