Description

Vladimir Kozlov graduated from the Moscow Lomonosov State University, Economics department with a bachelor's degree in 2006 and a master's degree in 2008. He defended his PhD in Economics in 2011. After several years of working for private companies, he joined the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE), Institute of Demography and as an associate professor. In 2015, he became an academic supervisor of a newly established English-teaching Master's program ‘Population and Development’. Vladimir has a wide network of collaborators and has visited several leading research groups at Freie Universität Berlin, LMU München, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, and Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. In Moscow, Vladimir worked with researchers at Lomonosov Moscow State University and RANEPA. He was also contracted as an external consultant by UNFPA. His research focuses on several areas of population studies ranging from economic demography and institutional economics to epidemiological studies.
