This anthology, edited by Petru Negură (Regensburg), Andrei Cușco (Iasi) and Svetlana Suveica (IOS), explores nation-building in Eastern Europe. The contributors analyze the everyday perspectives and reactions of local populations to state-building projects at the beginning of the 20th century.
