Departments and Research Group

Researchers of the IOS are organized into the History and Economics Departments as well as in the Political Science Research Group. These departments not only cover disciplinary foci, but also research subjects—thus, they include staff members from social anthropology, sociology, and jurisprudence as well. The two research fields of "Institutionalization, De-institutionalization, Re-institutionalization" and "Mobility(ies) and Inequality(ies)" provide a platform for productive interdisciplinary exchange.
