Description

Sandra Bartsch studied media culture at the Bauhaus University in Weimar. There she studied a mixture of media philosophy, history, sociology and economics to learn about the broad concept of media.  She wrote her bachelor's thesis in 2023 on the role of surveillance technologies in surveillance societies, such as the social credit system in China. After graduation, she moved to Regensburg, both professionally and privately. Since September 2024, she has been training as a media and information services specialist at the Leibniz Institute for East and Southeast European Studies to learn more about practical work with media.
