Lois Ring

Lois Ring studied German and technical translation at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology. She worked both as a specialist translator and excavation assistant in the cultural heritage and archaeology branch for many years. Subsequently, she worked as a freelance technical translator for a wide range of industrial clients. She joined the Institute in 2025 and assists both the secretary office and the event management department.
