Tillmann Tegeler appointed to the Advisory Board of the Institute for Danube Swabian History and Regional Studies

Tillmann Tegeler, director of the IOS Library, has been appointed to the Scientific Advisory Board of the Institute for Danube Swabian History and Regional Studies (IdGL). The advisory board is composed of renowned scholars with expertise in Southeast European studies, library‑ and archival science, and knowledge dissemination. The advisory board plays a central role in ensuring the quality of the institute’s work. Members are appointed by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of the Interior for a term of four years upon the recommendation of the Institute and may serve a maximum of two terms.

Tegeler’s specific responsibilities on the advisory board include providing expert advice regarding the institute’s library and assisting with the establishment and maintenance of academic networks in the research regions of Hungary, Romania, Serbia, and Croatia. In addition, the advisory board contributes to the strategic development and quality assurance of the institute’s work.
