New article by Sabine Rutar (IOS) and Federico Tenca Montini (ZRS) in Comparative Southeast European Studies: “Open Borders in the Alps-Adriatic Region during the Cold War and Beyond: An ERC Project, an Exhibition, and a Twin European Capital of Culture”.

The essay presents the ERC research team “Open Borders”, with a focus on its recent activities in the framework of the European Capital of Culture Programme in Nova Gorica/Gorizia. The most important public outreach product of the ERC project is the exhibition “Never Mind the Borders. People, Places and Cross-Border Practices between the Alps and the Adriatic”, launched in three languages (Slovenian, Italian, English) on location and in six languages (+ Croatian, Friulian, German) online.
