The IOS is strengthening its cooperation with Japan

IOS director Ulf Brunnbauer met with Norihiro Naganawa, director of the Slavic-Eurasian Research Center at Sapporo University in Japan, as well as other colleagues from the center, to discuss potential areas of cooperation. The center in Sapporo is the most important institution for Eastern European studies in Japan. During the meeting, they identified many thematic overlaps with the research conducted at the IOS.
