Description

Sinem Ayhan received her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Bologna in 2014. After completing her doctoral studies, she worked as a postdoc/researcher at the Institute for Labor Economics (IZA), University of Münster and Mercator Research Institute on Global Commons and Climate Change (MCC). Besides her academic experience, Sinem worked as an expert in a governmental organization in Turkey from 2005 to 2010. She was responsible for international agreements on trade in services. Her research interests include job loss, the evaluation of labor market policies, gender inequality, the role of preferences and personality traits in the labor market, as well as issues related to the developmental aspects of climate change. Since February 2022, Sinem has been working as a researcher at the economics department of the IOS.
