Nicht erst seit dem Angriff Russlands auf die Ukraine am 24.2.2022 gehört dieses so vielfältige Land zu den räumlichen Forschungsschwerpunkten des IOS, sowohl in seiner Forschung als auch seinen Transferaktivitäten. Darauf aufbauend hat das Institut seine Ukraine-bezogenen Aktivitäten nochmals intensiviert.
