IOS Mourns the Loss of Oleg Sidorkin

The IOS is saddened by the loss of Oleg Sidorkin, who passed away on July 31, 2023. The condolences of the staff go out to his family.

After completing his PhD at CERGE-EI in Prague, Oleg Sidorkin worked as a Researcher at the IOS Economics Department from 2017 to 2019. He then remained affiliated with the Institute as a Research Fellow. The staff of the IOS remembers him as an extraordinarily helpful, friendly, dedicated and humorous colleague, as well as an excellent scientist and original thinker. The IOS is deeply indebted to him for his work.
