Ios Strengthens Academic Ties with China

The Academic Director of the IOS, Ulf Brunnbauer, visited the renowned Tongji University in Shanghai. Discussions with Prof. Lilei Song of the School of Political Sciences and International Relations focused on possible cooperation. Particular attention was paid to the field of Area Studies, which is currently being established as a new discipline at the leading Chinese university.
